Marcus Carano, a 2016 alumnus of The College of Wooster is in his fourth year as a volunteer assistant coach.
Carano capped his career with a third all-conference certificate, turning in a 301 to tie for seventh at the 2016 NCAC Championship Series. He really stepped up during his final collegiate event at the Wooster Country Club, turning in a 146, the second-lowest score of the final 36 holes.
Earlier during his senior year, Carano shot a 1-under-par 143 at the Nye Intercollegiate/NCAC Preview, becoming the first Fighting Scot to go under par for a 36-hole tournament since at least 1990.
For his career, Carano averaged 77.2 strokes over 62 rounds.
Professionally, Carano is an assistant director of admissions at the College.
