The National Fastpitch Coaches Association recently announced the 2019 NCAA Division III All-Region softball teams and among them was sophomore Olivia Johnson who appeared on the Central Region Third Team.
Johnson finished the year with a 15-6 record on the mound with a 1.80 ERA, 125 strikeouts, 14 complete games and two saves. In conference games, she was 9-1 with a 1.03 ERA.
At the plate, she batted .244 with two home runs and seven RBI.
The sophomore was a critical part in guiding the team to a 26-13 record, which set a new single season program record for wins.
Squads are comprised of three 15-player teams in each of the country's eight NCAA regions. All-Region players are nominated and selected by NFCA member coaches in each of the eight Division III regions.
