William McMichael (Evanston, Ill.) got his first track & field meet of his sophomore campaign under his belt last week, and on Monday he was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week in Men's Sprints/Hurdles.
In the non-scoring meet at Oberlin College, McMichael won the 400 meters in a time of 53.48 and was over two seconds faster than the runner-up time of 55.76. The sophomore also finished sixth in the 200 meters at 23.94.
This is McMichael's second NCAC player of the week honor of his career.
Wooster is back in action Saturday when they host the Wooster Tri-Meet.
