The College of Wooster's divers got their first taste of competition this season, as the Fighting Scots were part of Denison University's Diving Invitational on Saturday.

First-years Blu Jones and Collin McFarlane led the way for Wooster. On the women's side, Jones scored 112.20 points to finish fifth on the one-meter board and 101.45 points for fifth on the three-meter board. McFarlane was ninth on the one-meter board with 156.75 points and eighth on the three-meter board with 159.25 points.

Senior Chris Caldwell also competed for Wooster, rounding out the entries on the one-meter board with the 10th-place score of 143.80 points.

Wooster's first dual meet of the year takes place at Malone University on Saturday, October 31.
