Two members of The College of Wooster men's golf team,
Andrew Carey and
Jake Cammarata, were named to the Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars list.
To be recognized for this award, an individual must be at least a sophomore and participate in half of the competitive rounds for the season. In addition, the athlete must have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III and maintain a GPA of 3.2. The honor requires that the recipient be in good standing and of high moral character.
Carey and Cammarata were also nominated to the North Coast Athletic Conference Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and joined 265 other Fighting Scots on the spring semester AD Honor Roll.
The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), established in 1958, aims to create educational opportunities, provide resources, and promote its members to enhance perform in all fields, academic, athletic, and civic. In partnership with Cobalt Golf, this award serves to recognized those that are fulfilling the same mission.
