Rising sophomore, who worked way into Wooster’s lineup last year and turned in an impressive spring.

2016-17: Moved into a top-six singles role midway through the Spring … Went 4-6 at No. 6 singles … Clinched a 5-4 victory over Ohio Wesleyan (April 22) with a 7-5, 6-4 singles win … Part of 3-0 doubles sweep alongside classmate Shannon Sertz in seventh-place NCAC Tournament match against Wittenberg (April 29).

Prior to Wooster: Attended Lycée Guebre-Mariam in native Ethiopia.

Personal: Majoring in neuroscience.
