One-time member of the NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and two-time member of the AD Honor Roll.   

2026 Track & Field: Competed in six meets, all during the indoor season … Placed 12th in shot put and 15th in weight throw at NCAC Championships (Feb. 27-28) with marks of 32 feet, 3.5 inches and 37 feet, 9.25 inches, respectively … PR’d in both events the meet prior at Kenyon Tune Up (Feb. 20) with 32 feet, 6.25 inches in shot put and 38 feet, 6 inches in weight throw … Shot put mark was good for third place … Made collegiate track debut with 28 feet, 5 inches in shot put and 32 feet, 5.5 inches in weight throw at season-opening Wooster Invitational (Jan. 17).  

2026 Softball: Appeared in five games and saw five at bats a pinch hitter … Only hit was her first-collegiate home run, a three-run shot in team’s win at Otterbein (4/7).  

2025 Softball: Appeared in six games, making two starts … Went 1-for-6 at the plate … Went 1-for-1 with her first collegiate hit, a walk and a sacrifice in the team’s 2-0 win at Kenyon (April 27). 

Prior to Wooster: Played softball, basketball, and volleyball in high school … Four-year Scholar Athlete … Member of National Honors Society, SADD, Key Club, Interact, and Student Government … Volunteered at Owls Program at the Wilds, and the local food pantry.

Personal: Parents are Amanda and Christopher Merlo … Education major.
