All-Americans

The highest honor a student-athlete can achieve is to become an All-American, and Wooster's balanced athletic program has produced hundreds covering almost every sport. Lists of All-Americans are available in each sport's record book. Record books can be found on each sport's drop-down menu on its landing page.

Academic All-Americans

Wooster student-athletes strive for excellence in their athletic and academic endeavors, and those who succeed at the highest level in both are awarded a prestigious spot on the Academic All-America Team. Wooster has 67 Academic All-Americans. Each sport's record book contains that sport's Academic All-Americans. Record books can be found on each sport's drop-down menu on its landing page.

NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Recipients

For those outstanding student-athletes who plan to continue their education beyond their undergraduate years, the NCAA offers a small number of postgraduate scholarships each year. Wooster is proud to have been awarded 34 NCAA postgraduate scholarships, including 20 in the last decade. Only Stanford University and the University Kentucky have had more NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipients than Wooster in the last five years. Wooster finished tied for first-place in the entire NCAA for most selections during the 2021-22 academic year, and the Fighting Scots have finished in the top-five for recipients three times since 2018.

W Association Hall of Fame

Wooster has been home to some of the finest competitors, coaches, and administrators in college athletics. To recognize the very best that have ever stepped foot on campus, the W Association ushers in a class each year to its Hall of Fame.
