Kaitlin Neumann, who helped Ashland University to the NCAA Div. II National Championship and was a two-time first-team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference performer, has been named interim head women's golf coach at The College of Wooster for the fall semester. Neumann began at Wooster on August 19.

Neumann's first college coaching experience was very successful, as she helped Ohio Northern University's women's program to a NCAA Div. III National Championship berth and the Ohio Athletic Conference title in 2021. Prior to that, Neumann elevated Avon High School's youthful girls' team into a conference champion. She also brings professional experience to the College as a Northern Ohio PGA tournament operations intern and a junior golf instructor with the Cleveland Metroparks.

At Ashland, Neumann helped the Eagles to a ninth-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Div. II National Championship. She was a three-time top-10 finisher at the GLIAC Championships, headlined by a third-place score of 230 as a senior. Neumann made four NCAA regional championship appearances, was a two-time Women's Golf Coaches Association All-East Region honoree, was a three-time collegiate medalist, and was a three-time WGCA All-American Scholar.

Professionally, Neumann is a physical therapist. She pursued a doctorate in physical therapy upon graduating with a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Ashland.
