BEREA -- The College of Wooster men's soccer team opened their year on the road and did so in dominating fashion with a 3-0 win over Baldwin Wallace University.
Senior Max Hill and first-year Max Wiley made their marks on the game. Hill had the game's first score in the 15th minute after a throw-in from Caleb King.
Then the senior connection of Dani Halbing and Keegan King made it a 2-0 game before halftime as Halbing found the back of the net in the 43rd minute.
Finally, Wiley found the back of the net for the first time in the 69th minute.
Sophomore Jason Prather collected his first collegiate win and shutout in net. He made five saves.
Despite not scoring, Baldwin Wallace (0-1) outshot the Scots 10-8 and held the corner kick advantage 5-2.
Wooster (1-0) is now 18-3-2 all-time against the Yellow Jackets.
Next, the Scots travel to Defiance College this weekend for two games with its first Saturday against Capital University.
