Another game, another record broken for The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team, who defeated Baldwin Wallace University 20-12 in a non-conference game on Saturday.

Junior Hannah Shaw broke the program single season draw control record after recording eight during Saturday's win. This is coming off Syd Schuster's record setting nine goal game on Wednesday.

Shaw sits at 120 draw controls on the year. She needed just four to surpass the 115 set by Megan Healy in 2019.

It was a quality day for the Scots, who celebrated its seniors before the game. Schuster kept her offense rolling with a game-high four goals. Shaw, Kenzie Morris, Ciara O'Connor and Jill Murray all recorded a hat trick with three goals.

After falling behind 1-0 early, Wooster broke the game open with six straight goals, including two each from Morris, O'Connor and Shaw.

Wooster was assessed a yellow card late in the quarter but scored twice a player down. Schuster scored her first of the day and O'Connor scored her third.

Wooster led 8-2 after one and expanded that lead to 14-6 at halftime. Caitlyn O'Connor got into the scoring column, while Schuster scored three times in the quarter. Shaw also scored as did Kenzie Smith, who scored with just nine seconds left.

Wooster bumped its lead to double digits behind a goal from Britta Treu and two from Murray Baldwin Wallace got two back before Murray scored again on a free position shot. Morris scored for the third time as Wooster led 19-9 at the end of three.

First-year Madelyn Noll scored her second goal of the year to open the fourth before Baldwin Wallace got three goals back to close the game.

Clare Leithauser led the game with seven ground balls. CC Dent made nine saves for the win in goal.

Wooster outshot Baldwin Wallace 38-32, and Wooster was successful on 17-of-21 clear attempts.

Wooster moves to 13-2, while Baldwin Wallace falls to 5-10. The Scots will host its final home regular season game on Wednesday when Kenyon College comes to Papp Stadium.
