The College of Wooster men's soccer team and Pfeiffer University drew to a 0-0 tie on Sunday in a non-conference matchup.
A close first half resulted in Wooster outshooting the Falcons 5-4. However, despite not scoring, the offense picked up the pace in the second half with an 8-0 shot differential.
Wooster only had three corner kicks, while Pfeiffer had four. Gabriel Thomas's day in net was easy, not needing to record a save to record the shutout.
Wooster had three shots on goal, all saved by Pfeiffer keeper Ali Jaafar. Aris Christodoulou and Connor Shea, who were Saturday's scorers in the 2-1 win at Guilford College, each had one of the shots on goal. First-year Markus Franch had the other.
Six yellow cards were handed out to the Falcons, including five in te second half. Wooster ended with just one.
Pfeiffer moves to 2-1-1, while Wooster takes its first tie to move to Wooster 4-2-1.
Next, the Scots will host Baldwin Wallace University on Saturday.
