The College of Wooster men's and women's cross country teams competed in their annual Twilight 5K Challenge under the lights at Papp Stadium on Friday.
SeniorÂ
Joe Ahmann was the top Wooster finisher of the night, running third in a time of 15:50.6.
Wooster had two other top 10 finishers withÂ
Zane DeMercurio in seventh (15:59.1) andÂ
Basil Keck (16:32.6) in 10th.
SophomoreÂ
Grant Mentzer was a couple seconds off a top 10 finish, running 16:34.6 for 11th.  Wooster then had four place in the top 20 from 16th to 19th viaÂ

Charlie Cuttino (17:03),Â
Tyler Frye (17:12.2) andÂ
Nick Schade (17:14.6).
On the women's side,Â
Lauren Acker, once again, was Wooster's top runner and lone top 10 finisher, running sixth at 19:29.4.
Amy Gabrovsek andÂ
Elise Wheeler finished right outside the top 10 in 11th and 12th, respectively. Gabrovsek ran 20:36.7, while Wheeler ran in 20:40.1.
Eilidh Horn ran 21:04 for 14th to wrap up Wooster's top 15 finishers. Wooster's final runners wereÂ
Sylvia Direnzo (22:33.9, 17th),
Wyn Caudle (23:54.1, 19th) andÂ
Colette Christopher (23:55, 20th).
Next, Wooster will travel to Spalding University on Nov. 15 to take part in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional.
