The College of Wooster men's lacrosse team picked up its largest win of the season on Friday, defeating Hiram College, 22-1.
In addition, head coach Eric Seideman notched his 100th career win in the collegiate ranks.
Wooster dominated from the start as Lane Kellogg got the Scots rolling, scoring the game's first four goals. Adding three first quarter goals from Jesse Fisher and goals from Will Fink, Baird Hruska and Riley Schulze, Wooster led 10-0 after one.
From there, Wooster pulled back, scoring five goals in the second quarter to lead 15-0 at halftime. Jack Holub scored the quarter's first two goals. Senior Cody Mox notched his first career goal, while Colton Beaudoinand Charlie Hayes wrapped up scoring in the half.
A running clock in the second half kept the game moving before the storms hit. Beaudoin scored twice more in the second half, while Jackson Young added two himself, which were also career firsts for the senior.
Hayes added his second goal toward the end of the third. In the fourth, Harry Brinkman scored his first collegiate goal, and Luke Peter scored his first of the game and second of the season.
Three goalkeepers saw playing time for the Scots. Case Lowery started to earn the win, while Jason Astle played the most, 30 minutes, and made a team-high three saves.
Wooster outshot Hiram Hiram (3-14, 0-8 NCAC) 50-10. The Scots also succeeded in 15-of-17 clear attempts and were 22-of-26 in faceoffs. Owen Bosland was a perfect 5-for-5 in his attempts.

Wooster moves above .500 to 8-7 overall and 4-3 in the NCAC. They are now one of three teams with a 4-3 record in the NCAC entering the final weekend of play.
Wooster will honor its seniors on Saturday when they host Wabash College in their home finale.
