USA Lacrosse Release
Senior defender Lexi Sarne of The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team was recently recognized by USA Lacrosse as an honorable mention for its NCAA Division III women's All-Americans.
Leading the backfield for Wooster's record-breaking season, Sarne started all 21 games and finished with 30 groundballs and 33 caused turnovers.
She led the team in caused turnovers and ranked fourth in the conference, averaging 1.57 per game.
Forty-nine schools represented this year's list, which was selected by USA Lacrosse staff and contributors.
Wooster finished 17-4 this season, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championships.
