TIFFIN – Sophomore
Annie Henegar scored twice on Saturday to lead The College of Wooster women's soccer team past Heidelberg, 3-1.
Hitting the road for the first time this season, Wooster moved to 4-0 to start the season. Heidelberg falls to 0-2-1. It was the first of four on the road for the Scots.
Wooster got on the board early in the 9th minute as
Kelsey Maley found
Bella Crompton for the score. It was Crompton's team-leading third goal of the year.
Heidelberg was able to tie it up in the 23rd minute thanks to a score from
Brianna Braatz. It was Wooster's first goal given up on the year as the teams took the 1-1 tie into halftime.
Out of halftime, Wooster quickly made it a 2-1 game with Henegar's first goal in the 49th minute.
Emma Fischer recorded the assist for her first point of the year.
After hitting the game winner, the two teams played the next 30 minutes even until Henegar put the game away in the 81st minute with her second goal.
Wooster outshot Heidelberg 15-9 and had 10 shots on goal to Heidelberg's four. Wooster withstood six corners and took four of their own.

Kameryn Nelson made three saves.
Next, Wooster will head to Franciscan University of Steubenville on Wednesday.
