The College of Wooster's field hockey season concluded on Saturday at Kenyon College, where the Fighting Scots fell 2-0.
Kenyon jumped on the board early, claiming the lead in the sixth minute.
Casey Master found
Ella Adamec open at the post, the Owls' forward hit in the opening score.
In the 52nd minute,
Maren Lawrence looked to score from the top following a penalty corner insert.
Abby Golub was open in front of the goal and timed her spin and redirection perfectly, ushering Lawrence's initial shot into the cage to make it 2-0.
Senior
Nono Kauffman stopped eight Kenyon shots to finish the year with 136 saves. Kauffman logged the Scots' top saves total since alumna
Katie Shideler had that exact total in 2019.
Kenyon kept Wooster's chances limited, as the Fighting Scots had just two shots in the game. Both were attempted by junior
Frankie Zehnal, who ended the year with a team-high eight goals.
The Owls finished with 21 shots and had nine corners to one for the Scots.
Saturday's game marked the career finale for seniors

Wooster went 4-10 this fall, with a 3-7 record in the North Coast Athletic Conference. Kenyon carries an 8-8, 7-3 record into next week's conference tournament.
