The College of Wooster women's tennis team took its second straight 6-1 win on Saturday, defeating Franciscan University, 6-1, at Aspen Racquet Club.

In doubles play, the Scots combined to lose just four games. The No. 1 team ofÂ

Sasha Riley won 6-1, as did the No. 2 team ofÂ
Lauren Richmond and
 Abby Williams.

Willow Hernishin took a 6-2 win.

In singles play, Meiners was showcased in the No. 1 flight and took a 6-2, 6-2 win.
 Jade Adkins did the same in the No. 5 flight.

Williams needed a second set tiebreaker in the No. 2 singles win, 6-1, 7-6 (5).Â

At the No. 4 flight, Richmond won 6-3, 6-1, and at the No.6 flight
, Kamila Kadirova won 6-0, 6-2.

Riley suffered the only loss, falling 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 3 flight.

Wooster moves to 3-2 on the year with the win. The Scots have two matches next weekend, starting with a trip to Denison University on Saturday.
