The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team had another dominating performance on Sunday as they opened a 3-game stint in Texas with a 21-1 win over Southwestern University.

The win was their largest margin of victory through six games this season. The Scots have outscored opponents 121-30.

Lizzie Hardy led the way in several key categories including seven points, five goals, seven draw controls and six ground balls. ClassmateÂ
Brynne Snaguski tied Hardy with five goals and six ground balls but also added game-high four caused turnovers.

Southwestern (1-7) took just three shots, connecting on its only goal late in the first period. Wooster took a 3-1 lead after the first quarter and scored 18 unanswered.Â

Wooster scored eight times in the second quarter to pull ahead 11-1 at halftime and added 10 more goals in the final two quarters.

Audrey Richardson got the win in net in 55:38, whileÂ
Taylor Noe closed out the final 20 minutes. Wooster took 42 shots against keeperÂ
Hannah Colvin, who made 12 saves.

Wooster won 21 of a possible 23 draw controls, succeeded in 6-of-8 free position shots and went 9-for-9 in clear opportunities.

Wooster moves to 6-0 and will challenge Whitman College on Tuesday.
