DANVILLE, Va. -- The College of Wooster women's tennis team wrapped up their spring break trip with a match at Averett University, falling 7-0.

Wooster (5-7) could not get much going on the day with No. 1 and No. 2 singles faring the best in 6-2, 6-0 defeats.Â
Elizabeth Meiners competed at the top spot, whileÂ
Sasha Riley played at the No. 2 flight.

Averett (6-2) swept doubles play, taking the No. 1 and No. 2 spots by a score of 6-1 and the third flight, 6-0. Riley and Meiners teamed in the No. 1 flight.Â

 Jade Adkins teamed in the No. 2 flight, andÂ
Elyse Errington andÂ
Kamila Kadirova teamed at No. 3.

Richmond took a 6-1, 6-1 loss in the No. 3 flight, and Errington fell 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 5 flight. Adkins at No. 4 and Kadirova at No. 6 took 6-0, 6-0 losses.

Wooster will return home focused on North Coast Athletic Conference play for the rest of the season, starting with welcoming Wittenberg University to the new tennis courts on March 28.
