The College of Wooster's Evie Sanford earned All-Great Lakes Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

This is Sanford's third All-Great Lakes Region honor. The senior logged a season-best shot put of 42 feet, 6.75 inches at the Baldwin Wallace University Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet on May 7 to solidify a No. 8 ranking within the region.

The USTFCCCA recently extended its all-region program to the top eight per event within in each region from the top five.
