Multiple College of Wooster track and field records were challenged on Friday, as several Fighting Scots competed at Baldwin Wallace University's Harrison Dillard Meet at George Finnie Stadium.
Wooster sophomore
Francis Nwokonko, sophomore
Franklin Adu-Baah, junior
Cooper Norwell, and sophomore
Dasebre Ofosu-Manu went 42.12 in the 4x100 relay, just off the school-record time of 41.75. The 42.12 was just off the relay's season-best of 42.08 that netted All-Ohio honors in mid-April. Adu-Baah led Wooster in the 100-meter dash with a 10.86, just shy of All-American
Reggie Ray's school-record time of 10.65.
Elsewhere, senior
Evie Sanford competed in the shot put, turning in a season-best effort of 42 feet, 6.75 inches. Senior
Rob Mays III rounded out the competitors in the hammer, throwing a best of 167 feet, 4 feet shy of his North Coast Athletic Conference winning mark and school record from last Saturday.
