Three-year starter will likely continue role as team’s go-to scorer … Labeled a strong, hard-nosed lefty, and good leader by the coaching staff … 2012: Earned honorable mention on the All-NCAC Team after breakout season that saw him lead the league with 45 goals, the fifth-most in Wooster history … Produced hat tricks in 10 of the 15 games, including career-high seven goals against Thiel (March 21), and tallied seven assists on the year for 52 points … 2011: Jumped into a starting role (14 games) and was the squad’s fourth-leading scorer with 12 points (10 goals, 2 assists) … Scored in seven games, highlighted by a hat trick plus an assist for four points in season opener against Aurora (Feb. 27) … Accounted for lone goal in 12-1 loss at nationally-ranked Denison (March 26) … 2010: Played five games as a freshman attacker … Registered seven points (4 goals, 3 assists) and four groundballs … Had a breakout game against Albion (April 9) where he scored twice and dished out three assists … Prior to Wooster: An all-state selection in both lacrosse and hockey at Walled Lake High School … Personal: Born May 12, 1991 … Son of Joseph and Doreen Ranck … Majoring in business economics.
