2021: Earned second career All-NCAC honor … Was Wooster’s ace … Went 5-1 with a 4.33 ERA over 52 innings … Made 11 appearances, 10 of which were starts … Ranked second in the NCAC with 63 strikeouts and was in the top five in wins and innings … NCAC Pitcher of the Week on March 22 and May 10 … Opened the year with a three-hit shutout against Ohio Wesleyan (March 20) … Faced two batters over the minimum against the Battling Bishops and didn’t allow a runner in scoring position until the seventh inning … Struck out six while scattering three singles … Added a second three-hit shutout against Wittenberg (May 6) … Retired the final 11 Tigers, faced three batters over the minimum, and only allowed one Wittenberg baserunner to reach scoring position … Carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning against Allegheny (May 1) and finished that outing with a career-high 10 strikeouts, in what marked the first 10-strikeout game by a Scot since Michael Houdek in 2017 … Member of the NCAC Academic Honor Roll for the third time.
2020: Continued role as one of Wooster’s top arms … Went 2-0 with a 4.02 ERA over 15 2/3 innings … Made three appearances, two of which were starts … Fired six shutout innings against Bridgewater State (March 10) and struck out eight … Allowed one run over four relief innings against Case Western Reserve (March 1) … Struck out seven in that outing … Picked up the win against Mideast Region rival Marietta (March 14) … Member of the NCAC Academic Honor Roll.
2019: Collected honorable mention All-NCAC honors … Led the team with a 2.63 ERA, ranked second in wins (7-2), second in appearances (18), third in starts (10), third in innings pitched (68 1/3), and second in strikeouts (41) … Ranked fourth in the NCAC in wins and second in ERA … Fired 8 1/3 innings of three-hit shutout baseball at Kenyon (May 4) … Worked four shutout innings versus Otterbein (May 18) in a regional elimination game, and thanks to a big lead, was able to be taken out early … Came back the next day to allow two runs on five hits in six innings versus Case Western Reserve (May 19) … Picked up win in game two of a key sweep over Denison (April 27) … Pitched four innings of two-hit shutout relief versus the Big Red … Kept Mid-Atlantic Region power Johns Hopkins (March 15) off the board with four innings of four-hit shutout baseball … Member of the NCAC Academic Honor Roll.
2018: One of the pitching stars in the postseason … Overall tied for third on the team with 17 appearances, three of which were starts … Went 1-2 with a save and a 5.03 ERA over 34 innings … Struck out 20 … Entered with a 3-0 count against Kenyon (May 10) in the NCAC Tournament and battled back for the strikeout as part of six straight retired … Allowed one hit and one walk in four innings of relief against the Lords for first collegiate save … Fired three scoreless innings against Shenandoah (May 18) in the Mideast Regional and picked up first collegiate win … Returned to the mound three days later for starting assignment versus Wabash (May 21) in championship round … Allowed one run on four hits before exiting after 4 1/3 stellar innings against the Little Giants.
Prior to Wooster: PBR All-State honorable mention selection as a senior … Two-time all-district and four-time all-conference selection for Aaron Brandt at Hawken School … Helped team to district final appearance as a senior and a pair of conference championships … Lettered four times in baseball and football and twice in basketball.
