2017: One of the top relievers in Div. III evidenced by a tidy 1.75 ERA over 36 innings … Logged a 3-0 record on the year while making 26 appearances, a total seventh in Div. III and tied for the second-most in program history … Allowed eight runs (seven earned) on the year while holding the opposition to a .195 average … Often entered in the middle of a jam, and stranded 23-of-28 inherited runners … Went 7-for-10 in blanking the opposition on the scoreboard when inheriting two or more runners, including a bases-loaded situation versus Ohio Wesleyan (May 6) in the opener of the NCAC crossover series … Strung together five scoreless outings to start the year, spanning 5 1/3 innings … Worked three scoreless innings over two appearances at the NCAC Tournament (May 11-13) as part of six scoreless outings spanning nine innings to cap the year … Worked 2 2/3 innings of relief at Kenyon (April 15) to pick up third win on the year … Also picked up the decision in wins over Oberlin (April 1) and Allegheny (April 9).
2016: Valuable relief pitcher, entering 14 games, and finishing the year with a 2-0 record, one save, and a 4.98 ERA … Signature outing came at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional, holding Widener (May 20) scoreless over the final three innings while striking out two to pick up a save … Overall, allowed one run in 4 2/3 innings of work at the regional … Picked up the win against Western Connecticut State (March 24), recording two outs … Picked up second win against Denison (April 20).
2015: Made 10 appearances (two starts) as a freshman, going 1-0 with a 6.32 ERA and 10 strikeouts over 15 2/3 innings pitched … Limited the opposition to a .286 batting average … Pitched twice during the NCAC Tournament (May 7-8), giving up just one earned run in five innings … Helped Wooster stave off elimination by going 3 2/3 scoreless innings and striking out three – both season highs – vs. Oberlin (May 8) … Picked up first win in that game … First career start was against regional rival Marietta (April 1) when he went the first two innings in an eventual 19-8 victory.
