Biography

2025: Model of reliability and consistency as one of only two Scots to appear in and start all 42 games … Third on the team in hits with 43, fifth in batting average at .274, second in at-bats with 157 and third in RBI with 24 … Second behind Ryan Kramer with six home runs … Third on the team with a .471 slugging percentage and fifth in on-base percentage at .398 … Second in stolen bases with 13 … Also tallied nine doubles, two triples, 17 walks, and 11 hit-by-pitches … Named to the NCAC All-Tournament Team … Along with Jack Spring swept NCAC Athlete of the Week honors on April 1 after slashing .688/.650/1.250 during a 4-0 week for the Fighting Scots … Went 11-for-16 with 11 RBI, five runs scored, three doubles and two homers during that time … Posted 14 multi-hit efforts … Had a seven-game hitting streak with 17 total hits and 12 RBI in that span … Hitting streak was entirely comprised of multi-hit games … Smashed two home runs for three RBI in game two of Hiram doubleheader (April 29). 

2024: All-NCAC second team after a career year in the power department … Batted .296 (32-for-108) … Tied for second on the team with 26 RBI and solo second with 28 runs scored … Plated six doubles … Second on the squad with eight home runs, 11 stolen bases, and 21 walks drawn … Tied the school single-game record for stolen bases with five against Thiel (March 12) … Went 3-for-4 with a double, two home runs, four RBI, and three runs scored vs. Adrian (April 21) … Homered in three straight games as part of an overall 8-for-17 week with six RBI and five runs scored between Kenyon (April 9) and Denison (April 13) doubleheaders … Blasted a home run in back-to-back games against Emory (March 21 & March 23) … Doubled as part of a three-hit effort vs. Washington College (March 15) … Had four RBI on three hits in game two at Hiram (Apr. 27). 

2023: One of four returning starting position players from 2022 Super Regional team and one of two of those who missed a good chunk of season due to injury … Played in 20 games … Hit .257 (18-for-70) with 19 RBI, 15 runs, eight doubles, two triples, and a homer … Started year strong with 3-for-5 nightcap, which included four runs scored, two RBI, two walks, and a homer in 19-7 win over Grove City (Feb. 25) … Followed that up with two doubles against Mitchell (March 12) and three RBI as part of 2-for-5 game against Babson (March 12) … Returned from injury to go 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles at Kenyon (April 4) … Returned again from injury against Hiram (April 29) and tied program’s single-game record with two triples. 

2022: Wooster’s top newcomer, evidenced by growing from part-time player to daily starter by season’s end … Played in 38 games with 30 starts … Started as the team’s second baseman when Eli Westrick was pitching and by season’s end was starting third baseman … Hit .300 (33-for-110) with 27 runs, 16 RBI, nine doubles, two home runs, and a triple … Made four pitching appearances and finished 0-1 with a save and a 9.64 ERA over 4 2/3 innings … Smashed a go-ahead grand slam in eventual 18-16 loss to national runner-up Salisbury (May 29) in winner-take-all game of Salisbury Super Regional … Finished that game 2-for-5 with two runs scored … Delivered a pinch-hit walk-off single in game one of Oberlin (April 20) twin bill and then made collegiate pitching debut in nightcap, nailing down save with 2/3 of a scoreless inning … Went on to go 7-for-12 with seven run, two RBI, two doubles, and first collegiate home run in starting role rest of week against Allegheny (April 23) and Heidelberg (April 24) … Earned spot on D3baseball.com Team of Week for games played April 18-24. 

Prior to Wooster: Part of Saint John’s Jesuit High School’s state semifinalist team as a senior … Helped the Titans win a regional, district, and conference championship as a senior … Gold Glove winner, third-team all-district selection, and honorable mention all-conference pick as a senior … Three-year letterwinner … Prepped for Sam Fisher.
