2025: D3baseball.com preseason All-American second team selection … Two-time all-region honoree, landing on the ABCA second team and D3baseball.com third team, respectively … College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® selection for the second time … Also became a two-time All-NCAC selection with a second-team nod … One of only two Scots to appear in and start all 42 games … Shifted to first base after previous seasons as designated hitter … Led the Scots in nearly every offensive category, including batting average (.376), at-bats (178), hits (67), doubles (16), home runs (10) and slugging percentage (.669) … Consistently ranked in the top-six in the conference in those categories … Also fifth in the NCAC with a 1.093 OPS (on-base plus slugging percentage) … Defensively, tied for team lead with a .995 fielding percentage … Tied for sixth in single-season putouts in program history with 368 … Completed Wooster’s first cycle since 2015 and fourth known cycle overall in dramatic fashion against Keystone (Feb. 28) with a game-tying grand slam in the top of the ninth inning … Came up a triple short of a second cycle against DePauw (April 7), roping two doubles and a homer as part of a 4-for-5 game with six RBI and two runs scored … Launched three home runs in doubleheader sweep of Hiram (April 29) which helped Wooster clinch a spot in four-team NCAC Tournament … Went 5-for-8 that afternoon with five RBI and four runs scored … Had a 12-game hitting streak across the majority of conference play … Added two other nine-game hitting streaks throughout the season … Recorded more than one hit in exactly half the team’s games … Notched eight hits in NCAC Tournament, including a 3-for-5 day in the NCAA Championship Round vs. Denison (May 10) with two doubles, a homer and two RBI … Member of the NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
2024: Second player in program history to be named both an ABCA All-American and a CSC Academic All-American® in the same season … Also earned a nod on the D3baseball.com All-America second team … First-team selection to both the ABCA and D3baseball.com All-Region 7 teams … CSC Academic All-District® selection … All-NCAC first team after leading the conference and turning heads nationally in several offensive categories … Conference leader in batting average (.437), home runs per game (0.32), RBI per game (1.71) and slugging percentage (.802) … Ranked 21st, 31st, sixth, and 14th nationally in those respective categories … Went 55-for-126 on the season with 53 RBI and 37 runs scored … Came up short of having the 17th 60-RBI season in program history … Had 12 doubles, two triples, and 10 home runs, all team-high marks … Also had a patient eye at the plate, drawing 17 walks … Landed on the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on April 17 after a week that saw multiple hits in all four games and blasting four home runs … Only held hitless in six of 31 games during the season … Had a 15-game hitting streak in the middle of the season, including nine consecutive games with more than one hit … Hitting streak started March 12 vs. Thiel and came to an end on April 20 in first game vs. DePauw … Bounced back in second game of DePauw doubleheader with a three-hit effort including a double and a home run … Closed the season on a modest five-game hitting streak, all multi-hit performances … Drove in six of Wooster’s nine runs in win over Spalding (Feb. 24) and hit go-ahead grand slam with Wooster down to its last strike in the ninth inning … Had four-RBI games vs. Washington College (March 15) and first game of Kenyon doubleheader (Apr. 9) … Homered five times in a six-game stretch … Member of the NCAC Academic Honor Roll … Member of the fall and spring semester AD Honor Roll.
2023: One of three Scots to play in all 41 games … Played extended periods of the year at third base, designated hitter, and first base … Ranked fifth on the team with a .324 average (44-for-136) … Led Wooster with 36 RBI, was second with 10 doubles, and had 25 runs, three homers, and two triples on first-year stat line … NCBWA Div. III co-Rookie of the Month for February after debuting with a 6-for-10 doubleheader against Grove City (Feb. 25) … Went 5-for-6 in the nightcap versus Grove City with three RBI, three runs scored, and two doubles … NCAC Athlete of the Week on April 24 after batting .533 (8-for-15) with 10 RBI over a five-game stretch … Slashed .533/.625/.800 during the stretch, which included NCAC sweeps over Ohio Wesleyan (April 19) and DePauw (April 22) … Had four two-hit affairs during the week, including one with four RBI in an 11-7 win at DePauw … Plated three runs during an 11-1 win over Ohio Wesleyan … Hit first collegiate homer at Oberlin (April 2) … Made two pitching appearances and worked 1 1/3 innings.
