Karen Webster has served as a volunteer assistant coach with The College of Wooster field hockey team since August 2026.

Webster played field hockey collegiately at the University of California, Berkeley and was a two-time all-conference selection in the 1990s.

Professionally, Webster is the executive director and co-founder of Healthy Seminarians – Healthy Church, an initiative that equips seminarians, clergy, and people of faith to explore practical ways of living into greater wellbeing through education, research, and advocacy.

Webster graduated from Cal with a bachelor’s in exercise physiology and earned a master’s degree in divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a doctorate of ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary. Webster’s husband is Wooster’s Henry J. Copeland Interfaith College Chaplain.
