Parker Smith, D3football.com’s first-team All-American punter as a fifth-year player at Heidelberg University, joined The College of Wooster football team’s staff in a part-time role in 2025. Smith coaches the corner backs and works with the specialists.

Smith coached two seasons at Wooster High School, where he was the special teams coordinator. He also has experience coaching running backs and defensive backs, having an all-district player at each position.

At Heidelberg, Smith averaged 41.6 yards per boot at a senior and earned two all-region and four All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. The four-year starter logged 176 tackles as a linebacker.

In high school, Smith was a star at nearby Northwestern High School, earned All-Ohio, all-district, and all-conference laurels as a four-year letterwinner.

Professionally, Smith is an assistant director of annual giving at the College.
