Prior to Wooster: Attended Marietta College for a year and started collegiate career pursuing baseball … Entered Wooster in 2023 as a sophomore academically and a first-year athletically … Passed for 3,000 yards and 30 touchdowns en route to first-team All-Ohio honors and The Daily Record Male Athlete of the Year award as a senior at West Holmes High School, located about 30 minutes south of Wooster’s campus … Eastern District Player of the Year as a senior after helping West Holmes to state semifinals … Regional, district, and conference champion in 2021 and conference champion in 2020 … Earned first-team all-conference honors in football in 2019 and 2020 and was part of 2020 conference championship team … Set West Holmes records for most passing yards in a season and longest touchdown pass … In baseball, part of two sectional and one conference championship squads … Conference pitcher of the year as a senior and Big Z Sports Player of the Year … First-team all-district performer as a senior in baseball and two-time first-team all-conference honoree … Set program records for lowest ERA and season and career marks for strikeouts and wins … Coached by Zach Gardner in football and Bill Pim and Wyatt Mellor in baseball … Four-year letterwinner in both sports
