2016: Named to the All-NCAC honorable mention team for the second straight year … Anchored down a corner position giving Wooster a veteran presence on the edge in its 4-2-5 scheme … Appeared in nine games, logging eight starts … Finished the season with 43 tackles, a total tied for second in the secondary … Broke up three passes and had a pick in a four-point win at Oberlin (Oct. 15) … Season-high eight tackles against conference power Wittenberg (Oct. 1) and Kenyon (Oct. 29) … Had a three-game stretch with at least seven tackles between Sept. 24 and Oct. 15.
2015: Earned honorable mention All-NCAC honors … Continued to be one of the staples in the defensive secondary of Wooster’s 4-2-5 scheme … Tops on the team with 68 tackles, five of which went for loss … Key cog in the takeaway department, forcing four fumbles, recovering three, and adding an interception … Tabbed as the NCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week on Sept. 14 … Forced, and recovered, a fumble on the game’s opening drive at Allegheny (Sept. 12) … Intercepted a pass later in that contest at the Allegheny 36-yard line, a play that helped set up the game-clinching score … Had a career-high 12 tackles in win at Kenyon (Oct. 31) … Added a key fumble recovery late in the game against the Lords, helping to set up the game-winning score … Reached double-digit tackles for the first time at nationally-ranked Wittenberg (Oct. 3) … Came through with a 24-yard run on a fake punt at Hiram (Nov. 7).
2014: Emerged as the starting safety in the teams’ 4-2-5 defensive alignment as a freshman … Finished fourth on the team with 53 tackles while adding three pass breakups and an interception … Notched a season-best eight tackles in three games (Washington & Jefferson, Sept. 6; Hiram, Sept. 27; No. 11 Wabash, Oct. 4) … Interception came against Hiram and contributed a four-yard sack against Kenyon (Nov. 8).
Prior to Wooster: All-area and all-conference at Homewood-Flossmoor High School … Credited with 70 tackles as a high school senior to go along with four forced fumbles.
