The College of Wooster men's soccer team took a 2-0 loss on Saturday at the hands of the fourth-ranked Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops in North Coast Athletic Conference play. 

The two teams went scoreless for the first 31 minutes until Dom Calabrese scored off an assist from Hector Gomez.

Gomez later gave the Bishops a much-needed insurance goal in the 77th minute after connecting on a free kick from right outside the box.

For the second half, the Scots did a decent job with possession and kept up an ongoing attack. They outshot the Bishops 6-4 in the half and 11-7 for the game.

Wooster keeper Hamilton Schattgen made two saves in taking the loss. Ohio Wesleyan keeper Mason Taylor made four saves in collecting the decision after playing just the first half.

Ohio Wesleyan moves to 9-0-2 overall and 3-0 in the NCAC. Wooster falls to 6-5-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the NCAC.

The Scots return to action Wednesday when they host Hiram College.
