Four members of The College of Wooster women's soccer were named All-North Coast Athletic Conference, as released by the conference office on Wednesday.

Sophomore Josie Bencic led the honorees with a first team nomination. Junior Mia Stoller was named to the second team, while junior Lucy Carlin and sophomore Annie Henegar were third team recipients.

In her first season as a Fighting Scot, Bencic made an immediate impact, leading the team in all three offensive categories with 17 points, seven goals and three assists. She was first in the conference in points per game (1.31), fifth in goals and seventh in assists.

Bencic had two multi-goal games this season, including in the team's season opening win over Alma College and the team's conference win over DePauw University. She finished the year scoring four goals in the past four games.

Stoller led the midfield, playing in all 17 contests for the Scots. She had one goal on the year, scoring the game winner in a 1-0 contest versus Marietta College.

Carlin started 11 games as the Scots' goalkeeper, securing a record of 6-2-3 with seven shutouts. Carlin allowed just five goals with a 0.45 goals against average. She also made 52
saves for a .912 save percentage.

Finally, Henegar was Wooster's second-best offensive threat, providing 12 points across five goals and two assists. Henegar had one multi-goal game, scoring twice in the team's 3-1 win over Heidelberg University.

The sophomore also had a stretch of three straight conference games with scoring a goal, all of which led to wins.

In the major awards, John Carroll University took the Offensive Player of the Year, Emily Patrzyk, and the Newcomer of the Year, Brooke Berkowitz. Denison University claimed the Midfielder of the Year, Maryn Zavislak, and the Defensive Player of the Year, Sarah Sollinger. Kenyon College took home the Coaching Staff of the Year.

Wooster finished 11-3-3 on the year with a 3-2-2 NCAC record. They tied for a fourth place finish in the conference standings.
