Louie Lindsay was named second-team D3football.com All-Region 4, as announced by the popular website dedicated to coverage of NCAA Div. III football on Wednesday.
Lindsay is Wooster's fourth defensive back to earn D3football.com all-region status since the website started its all-region honors in 2005. This fall, Lindsay was a first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection after leading the league in passes defended and breakups. He had 15 passes defended and 14 breakups on the year.
Lindsay earned a spot on D3football.com's Team of the Week after having a 73-yard pick six against Kenyon College. He logged three games with a trio of pass breakups and had a high of eight tackles at Wilmington College and against Wabash College. Lindsay ranked third on the team with 51 tackles and was among the team leaders in tackles for loss at five.
He was the secondary leader of a defense that allowed the fewest points and yards per game since 2019.
