Eighth-ranked Kenyon College defeated The College of Wooster men's tennis team, 7-0, in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Friday.
Kenyon (16-3, 5-1 NCAC) started by taking the doubles point with 6-4 victories in the No. 1 and No. 2 flight. Wooster's No. 1 team consisted of Arnav Yadav and Namit Misra, while their No. 2 team featured Anthony VanOyen and Ian Royse.
Kenyon then defeated the No. 3 team of Bennett Dickerson and Walker Wood, 6-0.
In singles play, VanOyen put up the stiffest competition, falling 7-5, 6-1 in the No. 1 flight. At No. 2, Yadav fell 6-2, 6-2.
Royse at No. 3 and Dickerson at No. 5 each fell 6-0, 6-0. At the No. 4 flight, Misra lost 6-3, 6-0, and at the No. 6 flight, Wood lost 6-0, 6-2.
Wooster moves to 7-9 overall and 1-5 in the NCAC. The Scots wrap up conference play with a trip to Oberlin College on April 26.
