Sophomore John Allen Ginder recently earned All-American honorable mention status as announced by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
Ginder had a memorable sophomore campaign for The College of Wooster men's lacrosse team, which also included first-time honors on the All-North Coast Athletic Conference team.
The short-stick defensive midfielder collected 23 groundballs and caused five turnovers while scoring 14 goals and dishing out six assists.
Appearing in all 17 games, Ginder was fifth on the team with 20 points and fourth in goals. He put up five multi-goal games and had a season-high three goals in the team's 13-8 win over Kenyon College on April 12. He also scored a pair of goals in the team's NCAC semifinal tournament game against Denison University, which ended the Scots' season with a 9-8 record.
