Q: Why did you choose to attend The College of Wooster?
A: I came to Wooster because it felt like a place where I could develop close relationships with my professors and not just be a number. The campus is very welcoming, and there is a strong sense of community.

Q: What does being a Fighting Scot student-athlete mean to you?
A: To me, being a Fighting Scot means showing up for my teammates and giving everything every day. It is about competing hard, supporting each other, and being part of a community that has your back.

Q: What are some of your favorite memories as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: Beating Wabash College at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, beating Oberlin College as a first-year, and just hanging out with the team outside of practice.

Q: What is the best part about being a student-athlete at The College of Wooster?
A: The best part is definitely the support system. Coaches, teammates, and professors all understand what it takes to balance athletics and academics. Additionally, being around people who push you and drive to make you better.

Q: What else were you involved with on campus besides your sport?
A: I am currently the treasurer of the spike ball club.

Q: Which College of Wooster faculty or staff member has made the greatest impact on you and why?
A: Dr. Brooke Krause and Dr. Philip Mellizo helped facilitate my learning, developed my love for economics, and instilled a lifelong passion to explore more in the field and continue learning after graduation.

Q: What other people or resources impacted your Wooster experience in a positive way and how did these people and resources set you up to be successful at Wooster?
A: A lot of people played a role in helping me succeed at Wooster. Coaches, professors, and APEX staff were always there to answer questions, give advice, or point me in the right direction. Whether it was help with resumes, classes, or just talking things through, they made sure I had the support I needed.

Q: Tell us a bit about your Independent Study project?
A: I am looking at the effect of how increased budget allocation towards below-the-line costs affects return on investment.

Q: Tell us a bit about something cool you did as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: I had the opportunity to work as a supply chain and sourcing intern at Owens Corning over the summer. I spent the summer at the global headquarters in Toledo working on the maintenance, repair, and operations team.

Q: Reflecting back on your time at Wooster, what advice would you give your first-year self?
A: I would tell my first-year self to slow down a little and trust the process. Take advantage of opportunities early, ask for help when you need it, and do not be afraid to try new things.
