Events in Friday and Saturday lineups at championship meets are often The College of Wooster swimming and diving program's strengths, and that is the case again this year, as the Fighting Scots had two championship final individual qualifiers and posted 11 top-12 finishes on day three of the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.
Senior
Boston Sullivan is clearly saving the best for last, as he lowered his program record twice in the 100 breaststroke on Friday, first to 56.30 in prelims, then to 55.78 in finals. Sullivan placed seventh in the championship final and was Wooster's first individual qualifier for the top heat at this year's preeminent Div. III conference meet. Sullivan previously swam the breaststroke leg of Wooster's record 200 (1:31.55) and 400 medley relays (3:21.00) earlier in the championships.
Hayden Price's impressive debut season continued, as he qualified for the championship final in the 100 backstroke. Wooster's record-holder in the event went 50.29 for eighth-place, with the time ranking just shy of his record 49.80. Like Sullivan, Price was part of the record 200 and 400 medley relays earlier in the championships.
Junior
Chris Caldwell left a big mark on the championships, scoring 27 points in the one-meter diving competition, which is going to go a long way in hopefully solidifying a top-six team placement for the Scots. Caldwell took sixth with score of 334.35.

Callum Glover, senior
Will Laymon, junior

Will Laubacher took fifth in the 200 freestyle relay at 1:24.41.
Massive time drops were the theme in the 400 individual medley. On the men's side, junior
Ryan Stokes won the consolation final (10th-place), leading the heat to the wall at 4:08.46. Stokes' time is the fourth-fastest in program history and was nearly five seconds better than his Friday prelim swim. Price went 4:10.83 to score a 12th-place finish in the 400 individual medley, and his time was almost four seconds faster than prelims. Price cracked Wooster's top-10 list in the event during prelims, and shot up to seventh in finals.
Laymon rocketed up Wooster's top-10 list in the 100 butterfly, sprinting to a 49.91 in finals, which was 12th in the field. Laymon now sports the third-fastest time in program history.
Laubacher's 14th-place time of 1:43.49 in the 200 freestyle was just off his collegiate-best of 1:43.10. Laymon led Wooster in the 100 backstroke, posting the 15th-place time of 51.89.

Wooster owned five of the nine lanes in the 400 individual medley consolation final. Senior

Sandifer posted Wooster's second-highest women's individual finish in Friday's finals. Her 11th-place time of 1:56.77 was just shy of breaking into the program's top-10 list. Junior
