Q: Why did you choose to attend The College of Wooster?
A: I wanted to build close relationships with my professors and advisors.

Q: What does being a Fighting Scot student-athlete mean to you?
A: Being a Fighting Scot student-athlete means building an inclusive community of academically and athletically driven individuals.

Q: What are some of your favorite memories as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: My favorite memories are getting to run with my friends every day at practice and meets.

Q: What is the best part about being a student-athlete at The College of Wooster?
A: The best part about being a student-athlete at Wooster is being challenged by and learning from your peers in and out of the classroom.

Q: What else were you involved with on campus besides your sport?
A: I am part of the Geology Club on campus.

Q: Which College of Wooster faculty or staff member has made the greatest impact on you and why?
A: Professors Hamed Goharipour, Meagen Pollock, and Shelley Judge have had a tremendous impact on my academic growth. Each one encouraged me to pursue my interests and provided incredible mentorship during my time at Wooster.

Q: What other people or resources impacted your Wooster experience in a positive way and how did these people and resources set you up to be successful at Wooster?
A: Coach Dennis Rice has made my athletic experience at Wooster incredible. He is an invaluable asset to the athletic department.

Q: Tell us a bit about your Independent Study project?
A: My Independent Study evaluates how small-scale green infrastructure can reduce flood risk in Wooster. As the impacts of climate change become more extreme, there is an increasing need to implement climate policy. To create flood-resilient cities, it is essential to evaluate the effectiveness of small-scale green infrastructure as conventional gray infrastructure often cannot keep up with managing the increasing volume of stormwater. Small-scale green infrastructure offers flexible, localized solutions that can enhance urban resilience.?

Q: Tell us a bit about something cool you did as a student at The College of Wooster?
A: During the summer of 2024, I had the opportunity to go to Amsterdam, Netherlands, Malmo, Sweden, and Copenhagen, Denmark for three weeks as part of the Urban Sustainability TREK program. While in Europe, we learned about sustainable urban design practices and explored these cities using public transportation and bicycles.

Q: Reflecting back on your time at Wooster, what advice would you give your first-year self?
A: Staying on top of your schoolwork is very important, but it is also really important to be present and make memories with your friends.
