Swimming and Diving Dominates Another Dual Meet

Scots combine to win all but two events against Ohio Wesleyan

The College of Wooster men's and women's swimming and diving teams continued their winning ways Saturday at home with a pair of wins over Ohio Wesleyan University.

The men came out on top in every event while the women lost just two – the 50 free by .04 seconds and the 1-meter diving portion, which Ohio Wesleyan took uncontested.

The men scored 170 points to Ohio Wesleyan's 45, while the women won 163-46.

In addition, three team pool records were broken by the men - the 400 medley relay, the 200 breast and the 400 free relay - while Glover broke the 100 free in the leadoff of the 400 free and Price did the same in the 100 back leadoff of the 400 free relay.

The medleys got the meet off to the right start for Wooster. The women's 400 medley relay team of Leah Dean, Maggie Layne, Elizabeth Theobald and Keara Wiley won with a time of 4:13.44, while the men won in 3:23.65 behind Hayden Price, Boston Sullivan, Will Laymon, and Callum Glover.

The men also had three with two individual wins. Will Laubacher won the 200 free in 1:47.73 and the 500 free in 4:49.59.
