Lizzie Hardy broke the program's career draw control record and senior
Brynne Snaguski hit 100 career goals as The College of Wooster women's lacrosse team defeated Baldwin Wallace University, 19-5, on Wednesday.
Hardy broke the record early in the third quarter and finished tied with
Sidney O'Rourke with a game-high six draw controls. That put Hardy with 306 for her career, surpassing Hannah Shaw's 304.
Hardy, in addition, scored four goals, tied with
Mizan Jacobs for a game-high. Hardy also led the way with eight ground balls.
Snaguski scored her second goal of the game later in the third quarter and her 100th of her career on a score that made it a 14-2 game.
Snaguski joined four other Scots with two goals in the game including
Cassidy Driscoll,
Kylie MacMillian,
Priya Nehria and
Sophia Mellis.
Wooster took a 5-0 lead capped by two quarter ending goals from Jacobs. Baldwin Wallace scored their first goals of the game to make it a 6-2 game, but Wooster quickly distanced themselves from the Yellow Jackets, taking a 11-2 lead at halftime.
Jacobs scored two straight to start the third, forcing the automatic clock to start. Baldwin Wallace scored three more times, including two from
Clare Alic, but Wooster had the answer, scoring the game's final four goals.

Audrey Richardson made three saves in the win.
Baldwin Wallace (2-1) was looking for its third straight win over North Coast Athletic Conference teams to open the season after wins over John Carroll University, 8-6, and Kenyon College, 12-11.
Meanwhile, Wooster moves to 3-0 with 59 goals scored between its three games.
The Scots return to action on Saturday with a trip to Transylvania University to start a stretch of six straight road games.
