ITA Release

The College of Wooster women's tennis team earned an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team Award for having a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or greater.

Allyson Achiampong, Willow Hernishin, Elyse Errington, Naledi Jani, Kamila Kadirova, and Abigail Williams were named Scholar Athletes, awarded for having a 3.5 GPA or greater.

The women's tennis team continues excellence in the classroom. Errington, Hernishin, and Williams were recently named to the North Coast Athletic Conference Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. Those three were joined by Achiampong, Jani, Elizabeth Meiners, and Lauren Richmond on the Athletic Directors Honor Roll for the 2026 spring semester, along with 260 other Scots. 

Williams, in addition, was recently announced as the winner of the 2026 ITA Sally Ride STEM Award. The ITA Sally Ride STEM Award recognizes a female student-athlete who demonstrates passion, dedication, and perseverance towards tennis, competition, STEM studies, and long-term goals. Williams had the most combined wins (20) on the women's tennis team this past season and the most doubles wins with 11.
