| Box Score 2 The College of Wooster women's tennis battled the elements this weekend but got through the Oberlin Invitational intact and with some victories across the lineup.
 
Rain altered the schedule with doubles matches only on Saturday. Singles matches were played on Sunday in a fast four format, where four games win a set.
 
Despite the weather, the Scots shined particularly in singles play on Sunday, going 6-1 across its matches.
 
Wooster took three singles matches against the University of Mount Union. 
 
Junior Jade Adkins defeated Emily Borchert, 4-1, 4-2. First-year Saule Kupcinskaite won 4-0, 4-1 over Cameron Silverman and Cameron Carlson beat Kami Magaw 2-4, 4-1, 1-0 (4).
 
Sophomore Elizabeth Meiners claimed a pair of victories, defeating Ohio Northern's Audrey Austin, 5-3, 4-2, and Oberlin's Eva Lopez 5-4 (4), 4-1.
 
Finally, Sasha Riley defeated another from Ohio Northern, Molly McLane, 4-5 (4), 5-3, 1-0 (9), while Lauren Richmond fell 4-1, 4-1 to Ohio Northern's Maggie Schmiedebusch.
 
On Saturday, Meiners and Riley teamed for three victories. They won 6-0 over Oberlin's Lopez and Freya Rahm, 6-2 over Capital's Stephanie Makris and Scarlett Stephens and 6-2 against Ohio Northern's McLane and Schmiedebusch.
 
Adkins and Kupcinskaite teamed for a 6-1 win over Capital's Addison Kokensparger and Alexa Smith. Adkins also teamed with Kamila Kadirova for a 6-1 win over Ohio Northern's Julianna Hindman and Taylor Allen.
 
Kadirova also had success teaming with Kupcinskaite for a 6-3 win over Capital's Kinley Neff and Elena Pahs.
 
Next, Wooster will compete in the ITA Regional Tournament at Kalamazoo this weekend.
