2019: Key member of the defense, who played in 10 games, three of which were starts … Key reason the Scots finished third nationally in red zone defense and 24th nationally in scoring defense … Part of a unit that held the opposition to 162 points and 3,433 yards, the program’s best totals since 2008 and 2011, respectively … Finished the year tied for the team lead with 55 tackles … Had three tackles for loss and a fumble recovery … Also used as a fullback in goal-line packages … Tallied a career-high 14 tackles at Allegheny (Nov. 9) and went on to have nine more stops in season finale at Hiram (Nov. 16) … Had a fumble recovery against the Terriers … Logged eight tackles, including two for loss, at Wittenberg (Sept. 21) … Member of the NCAC Academic Honor Roll.
2018: Appeared in all 10 games as a rookie, and continued to see an expanded role as the season progressed … Logged a season-high seven tackles at Denison (Nov. 3) and closed the season with five versus Wittenberg (Nov. 10) … Overall, tallied 20 tackles on the year.
Prior to Wooster: Third-team all-state selection as a senior while prepping for Mike Pavlansky at Canfield High School … Earned a pair of all-district and all-conference certificates … Helped team to regional runner-up finish as a senior and a pair of conference titles.
