2020-21: The anchor of the Scots’ secondary … Made three solo tackles against DePauw (March 13) in what was an exhibition contest.
2019: Repeated as an honorable mention All-NCAC selection … One of the anchors in the secondary … Part of a defense that held the opposition to 162 points and 3,433 yards, the program’s lowest totals since 2008 and 2011, respectively … Helped Wooster finish third nationally in red zone defense and 24th nationally in scoring defense … Played in and started eight games … Finished the year with 32 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss … Tops on the team with three interceptions … Clinched Wooster’s 24-10 win over Wabash (Oct. 12) – the Scots’ first win over the Little Giants since 2004 – with an interception with about 1:42 remaining … Had a season-high eight tackles against the Little Giants … Totaled six stops at Allegheny (Nov. 9) … Other interceptions came against Bluffton (Sept. 7) and Kenyon (Oct. 26).
2018: Continued to rate as one of the team’s most important defensive pieces … Started all 10 games and made debut appearance on All-NCAC team as an honorable mention selection … Finished third on the team with 58 tackles, while leading the squad with three interceptions … One of three Scots to earn the NCAC’s Defensive Player of the Week prize, doing so for play against DePauw (Sept. 22) … Responsible for two of Wooster’s five takeaways against DePauw, the first of which came in the end zone on the game’s opening drive … Later in the game, came away with a second interception with just under three minutes remaining and Wooster leading by three … Third interception came in win versus Kenyon (Oct. 27), during which Wooster logged its first shutout since 2010 … A week later, piled up a season-high 13 tackles at Denison (Nov. 3) … Added eight tackles at Ohio Wesleyan (Sept. 15) and Oberlin (Oct. 13).
2017: An impact player on defense from day one, who finished second on the team with 70 tackles and led the squad with seven pass breakups … Played in all 10 games and started nine … Tied for 15th in the NCAC in tackles … Exploded onto the scene with seven tackles in season-opening win over Bluffton (Sept. 2) … Overall, logged seven or more tackles in five games, and really stepped up with double-digit stops against Wittenberg (Nov. 11) and Wabash (Sept. 30) … Logged an interception against Oberlin (Oct. 14) and forced fumbles against Allegheny (Sept. 9) and Denison (Nov. 4).
