Returns healthy following an injury-shortened season … Will continue to provide outstanding defense up the middle, likely making the transition from shortstop to second base … A candidate to bat leadoff … Played for the Columbus All-Americans during the 2008 Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, starting 24 games and batting .234 (18-for-77) with two doubles and nine RBI against high-caliber competition … 2009: Team’s starting shortstop for first 32 games and primary No. 5 hole hitter before suffering an injury on April 12 … Returned to serve as a pinch runner five times during the finals of the NCAA Div.
