The College of Wooster's
Lizzie Hardy and
Frankie Zehnal were repeat All-North Coast Athletic Conference honorees in field hockey, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Â
Hardy, who earned an elevation to second-team all-conference, led the Fighting Scots with five goals and 11 points this fall. The senior scored twice in Wooster's 4-0 win over Transylvania University. Next, she broke a 1-1 tie in Wooster's 2-1 win over Oberlin College, scoring the game-winner with 8:10 remaining in regulation. That earned Hardy NCAC Athlete of the Week status. Her final goal was the double-overtime game-winner in a senior day 1-0 victory over Washington & Jefferson College in late October.
Â
Zehnal repeated as a third-team all-conference pick. The sophomore ranked second on the team with four goals. The forward's final goal of the year came at then-co-NCAC-leading DePauw University. She had goals in consecutive games early in 2025, with those coming against Marian University and Transylvania. Zehnal's fourth goal came in the season finale at Allegheny College.
Â
Wooster tied for sixth-place within the 10-team NCAC this fall.
