Junior Allie Toombs earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association Scholar of Distinction honors for the third time and was joined by eight teammates on this year's NFHCA National Academic Squad.

Wooster's team was honored, as the Fighting Scots qualified for the NFHCA National Academic Team Award, which recognizes teams that earn a team GPA of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.

Toombs was joined on the NFHCA National Academic Squad by senior Cate Barkdoll, senior Joey Beckerman, junior Brooke Benjamin, senior Lizzie Hardy, junior Naledi Jani, senior Natalie Katzenmeyer, first-year Izzie Kline, and junior Audrey McKenna. Of note, Katzenmeyer is a four-time qualifier for the NFHCA National Academic Squad.

All nine of this year's NFHCA National Academic Squad honorees were part of The College of Wooster's Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall semester. They were joined by senior Coco Rodríguez and sophomore Emily Wachowiak.
