The College of Wooster today announced the departure of head field hockey coach
Lauren Voigt.
Amber DeJonge, current assistant coach, will assume interim coach duties while Wooster launches a search for its next head coach.
Voigt led Wooster's program for two seasons. Five Fighting Scots earned All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors during that span, including two-time honorees
Lizzie Hardy and
Frankie Zehnal.
DeJonge joined Wooster's staff in 2025 upon finishing her collegiate career at Albertus Magnus College. DeJonge has several years of coaching experience at the club level.
"We collectively thank Lauren for her service and wish her well moving forward," said
Lynn Holleran, Wooster's director of athletics and physical education.
A search for Wooster's next head field hockey coach will begin immediately.
