Kramer Earns Repeat All-Region Status

The College of Wooster's Ryan Kramer was voted second-team American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Region VII and third-team D3baseball.com All-Region 7, as announced by the organizations on Tuesday.

Kramer ranks highly within Div. III in total bases, as he is 39th nationally through games played May 26. The D3baseball.com Preseason All-American first baseman hit .376 (67-for-178) this spring with 52 RBI, 32 runs, 16 doubles, and 10 homers. Kramer led the team in average, hits, RBI, doubles, and homers, and was fourth in runs and second with three triples. In the field, he sported a .995 percentage with two errors in 387 chances.

Kramer hit for the cycle against Keystone College on February 28, marking the program's first cycle in a decade. He hit three homers in a doubleheader sweep over Hiram College to help the program officially clinch its spot in the four-team NCAC Tournament.

Kramer was named second-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference earlier this spring for his second all-conference honor.

This is Kramer's second year earning all-region laurels. He was an All-American as a sophomore, when he was primarily the designated hitter.
